Destroyed in the Dalek Invasion?

I've recently started watching Doctor Who and decided to start with the 1st Doctor. In the episode, Flight Through Eternity, Vicki stated that "Ancient New York" was destroyed in the Dalek Invasion. What Dalek Invasion exactly is she referring to? --RadicalEdward2 ☎ 03:54, July 20, 2012 (UTC)
