Why "The Herald?"[[edit source]]
The justification for the suggested rename to "The Herald" (with the appropriate dab term) is that this is her self-description. In Future Pain, while being in a cell next to Ro-Jedda in The Hub, she was asked who she was and answered, "I am the Herald".
Please provide any other relevant information, for or against the rename, as well as with alternative name suggestions based on in-universe evidence below. Amorkuz ☎ 06:27, October 25, 2018 (UTC)
- Her whole exchange with Ro-Jedda in that story was Ng manipulating Ro-Jedda on Yvonne’s behalf.
- Furthermore, she’s called Ng by the other characters throughout the rest of the Boxset. Bearing in mind that the name “Ng” is never once uttered in dialogue during Aliens Among Us, and now she is known to everyone as Ng in God Among Us, presumably this is the name she gave Yvonne between the events of the last series and this one.
- She’s credited as Ng, she’s called Ng in the behind the scenes content and now she’s called Ng by the other members of Torchwood. Whether or not it’s her real name or not, it’s her most common name and one she doesn’t object to, so I believe it’s best to continue calling her Ng, as appeared to be the intention of the writers for the Boxset.
