Talk:Oswald Danes
Pedafile or pedophile?[[edit source]]
Someone keeps on putting the world as "pedophile". I'm sorry, but frankly that's not a word. Pedafile is a word, not "pedophile". I'm currently going to change it. If you disagree - I highly doubt this - then revert. BroadcastCorp 11:10, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
- Pedophile is how you spell it, Pedafile is wrong, that's just how some people pronounce it. --MrThermomanPreacher 12:09, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, Thermoman is right. Also, Broadcast, please don't leave offensive comments in the edit summary "Learn to spell" could be seen as a personal attack.--Skittles the hog - talk 13:06, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
- I'm very sorry if I offended anyone. BroadcastCorp 15:24, July 28, 2011 (UTC)
Currently the British spelling "paedophile" is in use, but such confusion could be avoided by removing it altogether. We could mention later any characters who refer to Oswald by the term, but in terms of canonical labels, the only appropriate ones are 'rapist' and 'murderer'. Considering that Oswald later tries to have a normal date with the prostitute that Jilly hired for him, his actual preferences and whether or not his obsession is sexual in nature is up for guessing. The guy's obviously unbalanced but it could be through an entirely different kind of amoral psychosis. +Yc 05:14, September 26, 2012 (UTC)
