Talk:Patient (World Enough and Time)

Rename[[edit source]]

I think the name of the article should be The Patients. The name Patient (World Enough and Time) sounds like an individual person. --DCLM 16:14, June 26, 2017 (UTC)

Agreed, though maybe the "dab" should be kept (is that what we call it?) or we make it more explicit that it is referring to prototypes of Cybermen. Snivystorm 16:19, June 26, 2017 (UTC)
Someone who visited the sets and saw the filming said that their name were "Topknots", but I don't know if that was just to distinguish them on set from finished Cybermen. --DCLM 16:24, June 26, 2017 (UTC)
Anyone else agree?? --DCLM 06:28, June 27, 2017 (UTC)
Discussion is still going on this. --DCLM 09:50, July 11, 2017 (UTC)
I'm still in agreement for the change, though without Top-Knots being mentioned in universe, we can't really have that. Snivystorm 09:56, July 11, 2017 (UTC)

Maybe call the page "Proto-Cybermen" or something along those lines since that is what they are. RGIN 19:48, July 12, 2017 (UTC)

Nah, sorry. We can't just make-up a term for a page if we actually have one. Also The Patients will never work, because all species pages have to be singular. You need to be able to say "The Doctor met a Dalek," etc. As "patient" is the only thing given in the episode's credits, it's what we have to use. Given that it's hard to argue that this is even an example of a species, the current title is the best that we really can ever have. OS25 (Talk) 19:49, July 12, 2017 (UTC)
