Look, I don't want to knock the IP editor's enthusiasm (and I must confess I am assuming it's all one editor, despite the range of IPs, because the style and errors are almost always the same), but do we really need an exhaustive list of every occurrence an outfit appeared? A few citations and an etc. per T:CITE would serve the same function, without bloating the page with massive unwieldy blocks of text. This does apply to basically all of the clothing and colour articles, not just this one. - CodeAndGin | 🗨 | 00:26, 11 June 2024 (UTC)

To me, it depends on whether the item was worn consistently from one adventure to another or if they went without it for a bit - in the former case, I'd say it's best to say when they began wearing it, then say that they wore it from then until whenever they stop wearing it. Other information should probably be limited to times that attention is brought to it, like a character mentions it, a character takes something out of its pocket, it gets removed, etc. (admittedly the history on Superman's costume may be slightly OTT). See Talk:Olive (colour), iirc. A broader bit of guidance on the whole color / clothing issue is expected to be coming whenever the Forum:Loosening T:NO RW resolution happens. Until then I've not been fighting it too heavily because of uncertainty from that thread. Najawin 00:49, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
Fair, I've just been fixing small bits of punctuation, citations, blatant RW and the whole image thing anyway, it's just this round of pet project-ness got my attention so was curious about the wall-of-text-ness - CodeAndGin | 🗨 | 00:53, 11 June 2024 (UTC)
