Peladonian vs Pel?
Just grabbed Legacy off the shelf and it definitely refers to them as 'Pels', which stories refer to them as Peladonians? --Tangerineduel 13:27, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

Where are we getting that they're an actual species — as opposed to just being "humans from the planet Peladon"? Seems to me that "Peladonian" or "Pel" is just a demonym. Does anyone have definite proof that they're a distinct species?

Doctor Who and the Curse of Peladon, Legacy and The Prisoner of Peladon consistently use "Pel".
The Monster of Peladon uses "Pel" twice and "Peladonian" once.
Doctor Who and the Monster of Peladon consistently uses "Peladonian".
