In The Kingdom of the Blind, Jason reads a story to Peter and speaks to him directly. Does this constitute an appearance if Peter doesn't make a sound? Jack "BtR" Saxon ☎ 21:29, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
- I believe so. (EDIT: I'm a fool and momentarily believed this was performed. If this is prose, then yes, absolutely, no question.) Scrooge MacDuck ⊕ 21:32, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, should have been clear about that. It's an audio. Jack "BtR" Saxon ☎ 21:35, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
- Ah! Well. Original reply applies then. In the prose equivalent "Character A said the following thing to Character B, who was in bed" would count as an appearance of Character B uncontroversially, and establishing via Character A's dialogue that Character B is there is just the audio version of conveying that fact. So I'd say yes, pending a new thread to do what the one in the Lost Forums could not and clarify what we call "appearances". Scrooge MacDuck ⊕ 21:40, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, that makes perfect sense. Jack "BtR" Saxon ☎ 21:43, 15 March 2023 (UTC)
