"He was the first person to offer the role of the Doctor to an actor. Had Hugh David accepted, Verity Lambert would have been saddled with a star she had not chosen." The word "saddled" seems rather emotive. Every other producer from John Wiles to JNT had not chosen their star when they took over production.165.225.76.164talk to me 12:48, April 30, 2018 (UTC)
