Well since it is River's diary, it does tend to appear in the same episodes with River, just as The Doctor's screwdriver tends to appear with him. However, River's diary and River Song are not the same pages and they don't include all of the same appearances (River herself has more, yes). But the diary certainly has enough appearances to warrant its own page (twelve or fourteen, depending on whether you count the slashed episodes individually). So I do not think it should be deleted.
