Talk:Robot Yeti

Five Doctors?[[edit source]]

Why is Yeti from "The Five Doctors" listed here? Is it really a robot Yeti, not a live one? Robot Yetis are dormant unless they're being controlled by the Great Intelligence, and you'd think a Great Intelligence would be, um, intelligent enough find its way into the Tower and solve the game. This one hasn't done that, so it's probably a live one? solar penguin/(talk)/(contribs) 21:35, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Well, the live Yeti are supposedly timid and docile, so I doubt that would've been a threat; that makes it most probably a robotic Yeti. You're right about the lack of the Great Intelligence being present to control it; perhaps it was controlled by the Tower itself? Monkey with a Gun 22:44, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Travers was only speculating when he said the live Yeti were timid and docile. Remember he'd never actually seen one when he said that. solar penguin/(talk)/(contribs) 09:35, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

We don't really know anything about the Yeti seen in The Five Doctors, except that it was capable of being "maddened" by a firework. That could suggest that it was a "real" Yeti, but it could also have been a rogue robot. Either way, it's speculation, which we should avoid here. —Josiah Rowe 04:27, January 15, 2013 (UTC)
