Talk:Sally Sparrow (What I Did on My Christmas Holidays by Sally Sparrow)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

"The discrepancy between the two versions of the character, plus the fact the Doctor is shown travelling without Rose Tyler, makes it difficult to reconcile this version of the character with established canon, unless she existed in an alternate timeline or universe."

I do not agree. The Ninth Doctor was travelling without Rose before met her. As for Sally's age, we know that she was 12 in 2005 but we don't know what year it is in Blink. We see her in her 20s, so presumably it is between 2013 and 2023. Movsar 16:52, November 13, 2013 (UTC)

The Doctor says 1969 was 38 years ago (relative to Sally) in Blink doesn't he? I have a feeling that the year 2007 might even be said in dialogue. -- Tybort (talk page) 17:04, November 13, 2013 (UTC)
You're right, Kathy says 2007. Shambala108 17:17, November 13, 2013 (UTC)
So my theory goes off. Still, we do not have to resort to other realities. They can simply share the name and surname without being even related. Movsar 14:39, November 14, 2013 (UTC)
Agreed. It's not a function of this wiki to try to reconcile two differing accounts, which in this case can only be speculation. I removed the sentence you quoted above. Shambala108 16:28, November 14, 2013 (UTC)
