Sanukuma is not a species

Bad news. Sanukuma is not a species. It's one caste in a complex caste structure of a race called "Kamishi" or "Camishi" (I was not able to find it written). This is said by the Doctor and confirmed by the Sanukuma master starting around 33:25 of The Rulers of the Universe. So many things need to be changed. At the same time, without the knowledge of how Kamishi is to be spelled, the proper name for this page is unclear. Here is my proposal: I will put a rename tag on this page with a note that the proper spelling is not known. This way, this page will remain the page for the species. As soon as BF publicises the spelling for Kamishi and an admin renames this page, a new page will be created for the caste, called the Sanukuma.

Meanwhile, I will try to correct the text and links wherever I find them. I will use the spelling Kamishi, which looks more Japanese to me, which seems to be the origin of both words (?). But text and links are always easy to correct, unlike page names.

I may not, however, find all Sanukuma-related material that should become Kamishi-related material. So if you created or edited some of them, I'd appreciate your help in updating the pages. Amorkuz ☎ 22:48, April 18, 2016 (UTC)

Shouldn't we just keep the Sanukuma and Tengobushi pages open whilst having a third page for the Kamishi? It doesn't really make sense putting them all in one group if they are different (I don't want to say species...) creatures with different abilities. I think the Kamishi page should be held to represent all of them, whilst these separate pages can focus on the groups. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Xx-connor-xX (talk • contribs) 01:57, 11 July 2016‎.

It is clear that in the end there should be (at least) four pages: this page, Sanukuma, two pages created by Xx-connor-xX, Kamishi and Tengobushi, and Manberuda, waiting to be created (again, spelling is not 100% clear). Since Connor created a new page for Kamishi without consulting anyone and instead of moving this page, which had all the info about Kamishi so far, I hope he would also be kind enough to move the relevant material from this page and add proper categories there. Since he has not listened to the Diary, however, I'm afraid it will fall on me or another willing volunteer to provide correct information for this Sanukuma page. I'm going to add here that no one should be creating pages relating to stories they have not read/watched/listened to. The problem with these pages comes from someone doing just that, and it's a mess to clean up. I have added a cleanup tag to this page. Shambala108 ☎ 16:15, July 11, 2016 (UTC)
