Talk:Series 1 (Class)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Should the official logo be added to the page... not to mention the Wikia itself? --DCLM 13:50, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Has the series started yet? If not, then according to Tardis:Spoiler policy, no images can be uploaded yet. Shambala108 13:54, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
Right. Forgot that. --DCLM 14:22, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
No problem. The logo probably isn't really a problem, but the spoiler policy is one of the few policies that can have no exceptions. Shambala108 16:04, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
I know. ;) --DCLM 16:11, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Year[[edit source]]

If I'm right the Wikia got the year (2016) of when Class is set from a plaque in the Barbara Wright Building that says completed in Spring 2016. But what is to say that it is set later in 2017 or 2018? --90.197.224.187talk to me 15:18, October 26, 2016 (UTC)

Streaming availability[[edit source]]

Me again with the streaming info. I somehow always assumed that a season page provides information where this season can be obtained (for the classic series, this is true for serials because they were the main video release unit, but for the new series, things are mostly sold by seasons). It seems somewhat strange that each story's page will tell you that you can buy this story with the season, but the season's page gives no information regarding streaming/download whatsoever.

I know we're more than halfway through the season of Class, but I'm sure there are many people who prefer to watch things legally. What I've just realised is that (barring the US who are screwed by BBC for no good reason) there are many ways to buy Class:

  • in Australia, Canada, France, Germany and UK via iTunes;
  • in Austria, Germany and UK via Amazon Video;
  • in UK via BBC Store.

Note that this list includes three countries where Class is, to the best of my knowledge not broadcast. So it seems like a useful information. I'm just not sure where this information belongs, according to the standard scheme. Amorkuz 00:54, November 13, 2016 (UTC)

If you were to add such a section, it would go under "Television stories" and above "Aliens and enemies". You're absolutely right that, especially until such a time as home media pages are created, that section would do well on all BBC Wales series pages.

Merger[[edit source]]

I've removed the merger tag on this article, as K9 (TV series) which one could argue has less presence than Class does also has a separate series and Series 1 pages for it. Class has a Big Finish series as well as its TV series. --Tangerineduel / talk 03:09, June 23, 2019 (UTC)
