Steven's native time[[edit source]]

I think this page should note the uncertainty about Steven's native time. "The Ravelli Conspiracy" implies he's from the 28th century, but that very scene also implies him to be joking/making stuff up as a joke to confuse Vicki. Additionally, "The Little Drummer Boy" has the Doctor state that World War I is four hundred years before Steven's time. The-Macra 00:04, November 22, 2016 (UTC)

You've done it yet, good job, thanks! HarveyWallbanger 15:38, November 22, 2016 (UTC)
Actually, the way it was written, it was speculation, which is not allowed. I can't seem to find the policy which describes it propperly, but I'm sure User:SOTO or User:Shambala108 may be able to help with this better than I. OncomingStorm12th 15:49, November 22, 2016 (UTC)

Actually, how was the dialogue stated? Do we know if he could have visited the 28th century with the Doctor? And the account from "Little Drummer Boy" should also be mentioned. JagoAndLitefoot 17:41, November 22, 2016 (UTC)

NVM, forgot that Vicki joined before him. JagoAndLitefoot 17:44, November 22, 2016 (UTC)
The policy against speculation is posted at Tardis:Discussion policy, not necessarily the most obvious place to find it. It's usually not a good idea to take given dates or other time information and use it to extrapolate other dates and times.
Unless I missed it, in The Little Drummer Boy the Doctor never states that WWI is 400 years before Steven's time. The exact quote, as Steven and the Doctor step out of the TARDIS, is, "The slaughter of the trenches of the First World War was an image that had easily resonated down the four centuries to Steven's time." Not quite the same thing. Shambala108 18:16, November 22, 2016 (UTC)

Just remembered: in The Bounty of Ceres (audio story), there's an exchange that goes like this:

Vicki: Did they have artificial gravity back in your time, Steven?
Steven: Of course we did.
Vicki: There we are, we're even before Steven's era. This is practically the middle ages.

Which adds support to Steven being from the 24th century (Vicki is from the 25th). The-Macra 16:13, November 27, 2016 (UTC)

Black Archieve[[edit source]]

I know Unit says they interviewed and mind wiped all of the Doctor's companions, but I find it incredibly unlikely they ever did this to Steven. He was born in the future, well after that statement was made, and left the Doctor also in the future. Unless they kidnapped him during his actual travels with the Doctor (upon which I see no ideal time when he could, given Unit doesn't exist in any of the stories featuring him), then it's not really feasible. Without access to time travel, Unit only has access to companions that lived between the 1970s and 2010s (when the comment about bringing all the companions to the black archieve was made).
