Talk:Teselecta

Spelling[[edit source]]

However more sense "Tesselecta" makes, the correct spelling is with one s, according to the official site. The page name needs to be changed, as does the spelling on other pages, such as on Tessalecta Antibodies. D0ct0r11

  • That's pretty strange, as it would be easy to see how it would be comparable to a tesseract in certain ways. But, the website takes precedence I suppose. d 19:00, August 28, 2011 (UTC)

Teselecta also displayed regeneration process. That could be noted somewhere.

  • It wasn't regenerating though, it was mimicking what a regeneration looked like (possibly why he had them stay so far away). d 19:34, October 2, 2011 (UTC)

NO! It's still mispelt. It's Tesselecta; you're missing an "s". [Unsigned]

As noted at the top, the BBC spells it "Teselecta" with a single "s". Since we've no idea where the name comes from, we can't assume it is or ought to be related to "tesseract", "tesselation" or whatever. It could, for all we know, be named after a person. The name could be an altered (future) version of "The Selector". All we know is how the BBC site spells its name. --78.146.178.49talk to me 12:23, March 7, 2012 (UTC)

Enemy of the Doctor?[[edit source]]

I think the Tesselecta is incorrectly categorized. It is not an enemy of the doctor and the occupants were human. Can that be fixed? 214.13.69.132talk to me 11:05, March 7, 2012 (UTC)

Regeneration[[edit source]]

It seems that The Teselecta (One 's', morons above) can regenerate when it assumes the form of a Time Lord, as seen in TV: The Impossible Astronaut when "The Doctor" was shot by the Astronaut. 94.2.93.242talk to me 18:05, April 7, 2012 (UTC)
