This page lists the episode's date as being in 16087, due to a line in one of the audio dramas. This contradicts the episode itself, however, in which the Doctor says that the ship is from the late 29th or early 30th century, and launched ten thousand years ago - which would make this episode take place around 13000. -- Dark T Zeratul ☎ 06:33, May 25, 2014 (UTC)

Extra, Extra[[edit source]]
"Aside from an extra, Brian Jacobs, as Technician Dune, and two voice-over artistes, no-one but the regular cast appears on-screen in part one of this story; the last time this occurred was The Edge of Destruction."

"There is a piece of very poor editing done when the half-mutated Noah confronts Vira and the Doctor as they move along the corridor (probably done to remove the more grotesque aspect of the scene)."
