Season 12 Ep 5 "Fugitive of the Judoon" timestamp 41:11 - Contract states Judoon must deliver fugitive to contractee at Division
I think the vagueness about who Gat works for can be clarified. Gat's next line is - I'm here on behalf of the contractee
While I understand the language not directly thinking her as a member of such division, I think it'd be good to note or at least reference these lines instead of / in addition to the information about her clothing. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.72.136.226 (talk • contribs) .
- Sounds to me like Gat and the Judoon are just 'for hire' and are both recruited by the Division but are not employed by or affiliated with them. It makes sense that Gat and the Judoon are on the same mission, similar to what you'd see/hear in the Vienna audios. Vienna doesn't work for anyone, but she is hired out by clients. - Hmm. I think this reading must be balanced with the fact that Gat clearly has history with Lee and the Ruthteenth Doctor, and, apparently, received the same training as them. Her costume is also strikingly similar to Coordinator Solpado's.

- Hence, I have a different reading of the quoted exchange than @Thefartydoctor. To wit: "Judoon must deliver Fugitive to contractee at Division" suggests that the Judoon's contract is not with "the Division" as a whole, but with a specific individual at the Division. Hence, Gat, another member of the Division, is not the contractee, but can be sent by her individual superior/colleague, "on their behalf". Scrooge MacDuck ☎ 12:37, 7 March 2021 (UTC)
