Know or known?

So I put in the little quote from The Doctor's Wife that tells us the first words the Doctor said to the TARDIS. It's a pretty important deal so I think it makes sense to highlight it with {{quote}}. But I'm hearing

the most beautiful thing I'd ever knowTDW

a future-tense prediction that makes sense for a Time Lord. However, I seem to be mishearing things, because the article's been changed to

the most beautiful thing I'd ever knownTDW

which is decidedly past tense, and sort of the tense that our human ears want to hear. I really don't hear Matt Smith pronouncing that closing "n". And frankly, given the importance of verb tense to the script, it seems more logical to me that Gaiman would have used "know" instead of "known". Can some other ears listen for me and report what they hear? I think we want to get this quote exactly right.

Sexy

So uh... the Doctor did kind of outright name the TARDIS "Sexy". Should we note this somewhere near the top or in the infobox? Witoki 23:32, May 18, 2011 (UTC)

At this point, I think we should be taking it as a gag. So I think it definitely doesn't belong in the lead as one of the alternate names of the craft. If it creeps into several later scripts, then we might bump it up to the lead, in the same way that the First Doctor's usual season 1 name of "the Ship" is. But, sure, the gag could be noted somewhere else in the article. I definitely think it would be a mistake, though, to create a redirect from sexy to the Doctor's TARDIS. Way too premature for that.

In my opinion, it's officially her name, because far from it being simply a gag, she's named Sexy 4 times: 1. She suggests it as a name when asked by the Doctor; 2. The Doctor agrees to call her Sexy; 3. She later asks "is that my name?" when the Doctor calls her "You sexy thing" and he replies "you bet it's your name; 4. She self-identifies using the name Sexy when introduced to Amy and Rory. I really don't know how much more criteria is needed for naming someone. Having said that I'm not in favor of renaming this article "Sexy", since "Doctor's TARDIS" is still the more widely used term. However, adding an aka to the infobox and indicating that she adopted - if informally - the name "Sexy" during her time as a human, is in order. I'd also support the addition of an actor credit for Suranne Jones and an image of a post-TARDIS Idris to the article - certainly the latter should be added, even if the actor credit isn't supported. Altering Environment

"The TARDIS could alter the environment within its rooms and even fast-forward time within itself (or at least create the illusion of time passing). (DW: The Doctor's Wife)"

I'm of the opinion that these experiences were illusions, likely created by Nephew under House's guidance, and not an ability of the TARDIS itself. In a couple cases, Amy and Rory were in the same spot, and only Amy saw the changes, such as a lack of light or a dead, angry Rory.

The Doctor's TARDIS - Alt universe

The Doctor looses his TARDIS in PROSE: Blood Heat and doesn't regain his original TARDIS until Happy Endings, for the stories during this period he's travelling in the Third Doctor from the alternate universe's TARDIS. It's essentially the same TARDIS except for the working chameleon circuit until No Future. Should it have a separate page or be part of this one? And if a separate page, just The Doctor's TARDIS (Blood Heat)? Or some other disambiguation title specifying its alternate universe standing? --Tangerineduel / talk 15:24, September 26, 2011 (UTC)
