Talk:The Doctor's cottage

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

This is the TV Comic/Polystyle cottage![[edit source]]

Sorry that this is over a year after the conversation, but we've seen this building before! In The Pictures of Josephine Day, its mentioned that the Third Doctor used the cottage. Well, turns out the frame depicting the outside of the cottage in TPoJD is a near perfect recreation of a frame from Zeron Invasion. This is the same cottage that the Third Doctor used throughout the TV Action and TV Comic. CoT ? 20:23, May 24, 2017 (UTC)

I'd heard similar before on a forum that the cottage had been in TV comic, but I couldn't find which story. Nice work finding it. Let's get some info on the page. Was Zeron the first appearance in TV comic? If so the page name needs changing. --Revan\Talk 20:59, May 24, 2017 (UTC)

Oh my giddy aunt! That was quite spot on. As I'm unfamiliar with TV Comic and TV Action, I'd never notice it. Quite a nice reference too, using the same cottage. OncomingStorm12th 21:33, May 24, 2017 (UTC)
Yes, I've also seen on a forum that the house seen in Verdigris is meant to be this cottage. While it's certainly not Smithwood Manor, I'm not sure it's this cottage. Care to have a look at the copy of Verdigris I'm pretty sure you have and give your opinion, Revan?
Also, the cottage first appeared in The Celluloid Midas (comic story). CoT ? 22:12, May 24, 2017 (UTC)
