Connection to the book?[[edit source]]

So what's the connection between this and Rigelsford's book from the 1990s? The DVD has the same title and cover as the book. 68.146.64.9 23:06, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

The original VHS release (there have been several) states on the back cover that it "is based on the best selling book by Adrian Rigelsford and offers a comprehensive and candid look at a series that continues to grow in popularity, even though the series came to a end in 1989, and proves that the Doctor will certainly never be forgotten."
I think it's officially an adaptation of the book, possibly as a way of navigating copyrights (the VHS was one of the first "unofficial" ones to get a commercial high street release) and possibly to capitalise on that book's success (it was pretty widely distributed, whatever fans may think of it), with Rigelsford basically writing the narrative structure for the video and doing the research to support it.
