Talk:The Dr Who Annual 1966

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Artwork[[edit source]]

While watching the documentary about William Hartnell (Adventure in space and time) I noticed a copy of the annual which I designed and did the cover art work for was featured in about the 56th of the pminute rogramme with the comment "amazing". I found it amazing today to discover that Walter Howarth has been credited with producing the cover design and artwork for the first Doctor Annual, when it was myself who actually designed and produced the full colour artwork.Walter did the line work interior pics because I was in hospital with TB for many months.Walter who was known to me stepped in to do the inside line drawings when the stories became available. I was an artist employed by the publishers World Distributors later to become World International Ltd for whom I worked for again for many years some as a freelance atist as indeed was Walter,80.2.168.229talk to me 15:46, November 25, 2013 (UTC)Stan Freeman(Formerly of Liverpool and Manchester, now in the Wirral)

Title[[edit source]]

I understand changing this from Doctor Who Annual 1966 to a more accurate depiction of the cover... But can we at least settle on The Dr Who Annual 1966? The parenthesis just is awful. OS25🤙☎️ 07:52, 19 March 2023 (UTC)

I moved the page to the current title as technically "1966" isn't part of the official title. 18:24, 19 March 2023 (UTC)
It's not a part of any of them until Doctor Who Annual 1973. Danochy 06:53, 20 March 2023 (UTC)
I'm going to go ahead and move it to the right page, since what was done here is against all precedent. OS25🤙☎️ 08:22, 21 March 2023 (UTC)
