War Chief likeness[[edit source]]
Hi, I was watching through pictures of this boargame but I am not really convinced by the Master-War Chief likeness based on what I can see here

- It is certainly quite a questionable likeness... I've added a Source Needed tag to that one for now. I did look into this game and the thing - both interesting and unfortunate - is that though Derek Carver is credited as the game designer... in an interview he gave some years ago, he claimed that he knew little of Doctor Who and that Albie Fiore was actually responsible for the game in the sense of the mythology within it. Unfortunately, Albie passed away over a decade ago so this would be quite a difficult thing to verify unless there's any BBC Enterprises paperwork on the game out there somewhere. And there isn't any credit on the back of the box relating to any likenesses. JDPManjoume ☎ 11:41, 13 April 2021 (UTC)
- Personally… I guess I kind of see it? They do have similar facial structures and facial hair if you set aside the "Mekon" cranium. But I did go in expecting Edward Brayshaw. I'm not sure I'd have gone "Oh my giddy aunt, it's Edward Brayshaw!!" if I'd gone in blind.

- Still, it's plausible someone might have looked at a (poor) screenshot of Brayshaw, exercised a bit of artistic license, and ended up with this.
- I think the crux of the matter is that this is from 1980 — i.e., before Ainley was introduced. So, the reasoning of whoever first drew the War Chief link must have been — well, if he's meant to be a TV Master, then he can only be Delgado or Brayshaw. (Not counting Peter Pratt, who, controversial later retcons aside, no one would have conceptualised as a different incarnation from Delgado at the time.) And if it's one of those two, he looks somewhat more like Brayshaw than he looks like Delgado.
