Talk:The Incomplete Death's Head (comic story)

Serious rework[[edit source]]

This page needs a serious rework in my opinion.

No such comic story as The Incomplete Death's Head exists. What actually exists is a comic series known as The Incomplete Death's Head which reprints seventeen identical stories featuring Death's Head. At the beginning of the first issue there are a couple of original pannels under the title Connections which begins a new story featuring Hob and Death's Head II, this storyline is continued throught the next twelve issues but always stands alone and never inteferes with the reprinted original stories (although the story references what happens in the reprinted stories).

This page should be renamed Connections (which is already redirected) and should only focus on the original pannels and new storyline presented in The Incomplete Death's Head issues 1-12. RadMatter 16:30, 8 December 2021 (UTC)

Just so you know, it was agreed in a currently-lost forum thread that the inclusion of TIDH would work like this. And doesn't it really only focus on the original panels? It only references the other stories the same way the comic does to be clear about the narrative. Chubby Potato 19:53, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
All of the notes within the plot should be removed in my opinion. The page does not look good at present with the scattered notes. These should be kept to the notes/references. RadMatter 23:18, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
I do agree it looks a little clunky, but DHII revisiting his past is part of the story. What if instead of out-of-universe descriptions like the current line break and italicized:
Death's Head and Tuck view the events of the DWM comic strip The Crossroads of Time, followed by the Dragon's Claws comic Watch Out – Dragon's Claws Here's Death's Head!
We incorporated into the prose description something like: "Death's Head and Tuck view Death's Head's first encounter with the Doctor, followed by his meeting with Dragon's Claws." — linking to the stories but keeping in style with the plot description? Chubby Potato 23:42, 8 December 2021 (UTC)
I really like this idea. RadMatter 00:10, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
