Isn't the Noodle Man first seen in "The Noodle Incident": Brand-New "The Noodle Man" Series Launches with Exclusive Arcbeatle Press Crossover Serial on April 1st [+]Loading...["\"The Noodle Incident\": Brand-New \"The Noodle Man\" Series Launches with Exclusive Arcbeatle Press Crossover Serial on April 1st (short story)"]? The website release has a fictional cover for the first book, which I took to be the in-universe cover, which features an image of him. In line with that, don't images of characters count for appearances? For example, on Spider-Man/Appearances. Cookieboy 2005 19:30, 28 June 2024 (UTC)

I think that's a controversial, messy matter — "Spider-Man" and other fictional-characters-from-the-real-world are in a sense treated like objects; the fictional character Spider-Man appears in everything which shows an in-universe Spider-Man comic book. It gets messy, of course, with the fact that we also have the odd appearance of Spider-Man as a real person… But for DWU characters who are primarily depicted as real beings, typically we view it the other way around, and fail to count every instance of in-universe drawings of that character as appearances of that character. Human Nature [+]Loading...["Human Nature (TV story)"] isn't at Eighth Doctor/Appearances despite featuring a drawing of the Eighth Doctor in John Smith's diary.
Of course, for obvious reasons, I shouldn't be the one to make the final call here. Just giving a policy/precedent overview as best I'm able. --Scrooge MacDuck 20:13, 28 June 2024 (UTC)
