Talk:The Time Meddler (novelisation)

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Adding irrelevant information[[edit source]]

All novelisations have a section detailing where the novelisation differs from the tv story.

For some unexplained reason, one person is persistently attempting to add the sentence from the end of Chapter 3 of the novelisation which states that the Doctor and the Monk instantly recognise each other. The only thing is...it doesn't differ from the tv story. What's more, the ip repeatedly trying to add this section even says as much in her post. Now, if it doesn't differ from the tv story, why add it to this article, and then even say in the article that it doesn't differ from the television story? 197.86.143.140talk to me 10:57, May 13, 2020 (UTC)

It's been a while since I saw the TV story, but doesn't it differ from the events there? I thought the Doctor recognised the Time Meddler as one of his own people, but did not recognise him personally (which is famously one of the grounds for criticism of the "Deca" retcon). --Scrooge MacDuck 18:27, May 13, 2020 (UTC)
