Hmm. I always thought it was common knowledge that the Doctor went to the Time Lord Academy. The context in Herald of Madness does not really suggest this to be a real thing. Rather, the Doctor uses the word Gallifrey in a way that would not be suspicious for a human but would elicit a reaction from a Time Lord. What was the context in The Song of Megaptera?
