Talk:What If? (comic story)

Comic story[[edit source]]
This is hardly a comic story. This is only a illustration, and What If? is simply the name of the DWM article. OncomingStorm12th ☎ 21:46, November 1, 2016 (UTC)
- It was a what if one page comic, like brief encounters and Doctor Who and the Last Stand that accompanies an article, I read about it else where as well and it is intended to be a one page comic. As weird as it sounds. Denchen ☎ 21:50, November 1, 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, but the thing is: What If? is not a story at all. It is a real-world article. Brief Encounter and Doctor Who and the Last Stand (comic story) have propper stories (even if the latter has really, really short content). This wasn't a story. It was only a illustration, like many DWM articles have. It certainly isn't enough for a page on this wiki. OncomingStorm12th ☎ 21:58, November 1, 2016 (UTC)
- If it's not a story, it's not a comic story. This page should be deleted. You are encouraged to create a page at What If? about the article, if you so wish, where you can mention this one illustration.

- It's supposed to be a new kind of story which tells that Doctor that could have been's story in one highly detailed comic image. It tells his outfit, abilities, enemies and abilities of that Doctor in the full image, I know it's weird. Also someone from DWM (can't remember who right now) even stated this was the case and it did follow the article but in a new comic capacity. As this is the case the wiki should be open to it. 😊 Denchen ☎ 22:12, November 1, 2016 (UTC)
- Really? What does this image tells us about this non-existing incarnation of the Doctor? Nothing. At most, we see what his outfit might have looked like. Nothing about his personality or abilities can be said, not even implied. We only get to know they (possibly) intended to use Daleks at some point. OncomingStorm12th ☎ 22:19, November 1, 2016 (UTC)

- Again: we only get to know about his outfit (better saying, possible outfit). Hardly enough information for making it a comic story and, specially, hardly enough for making a page for the character. OncomingStorm12th ☎ 22:27, November 1, 2016 (UTC)
- Just to clarify: a story requires a narrative. Even if this is a snapshot into a potential story, there is no narrative here. You can cover any information pertaining to this illustration on the page for the DWM article.
