They arent normally vulnerable to computer viruses, the mr smith xylok was because he was basically the cpu of mr smith, the virus wiped mr smiths hard disk (or whatever mr smith has) and he was told to protect the earth, that was programmed into his hard drive so now the xylok in mr smith has to follow that directive even though it doesnt want to.212.74.27.54 12:46, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Remember, that mr smith is sometimes more like a computer, and sometimes more like a human(?). See the differences between "The lost boy" and "Secrets of the stars". And, also look at his shot down in "mark of the berserker".
