The Gemini Plan was an effort to knock Venus into Earth's orbit, thereby making it easier to humans to remove the natural resources of their sister planet. It was to be effected by the controlled use of nuclear explosion. Obviously an insane idea, it was opposed by the Third Doctor, who had to travel to the Australian outback to find and defeat the madman in charge of it. Read more...
