Template:Needs new scan

Instructions for {{Needs new scan}}

{{Needs new scan}} is a template to be used on file pages only. It should be used when a cover available to you is narrower than 420px.

There are no parameters for this template. Just type {{needs new scan}} on the file page at upload. All pics that use this template will be in a category called category:Images that need a scan of a physical cover.

Please do not use either this template or the category it creates frivolously.

This is the widest variant of the cover obtainable without scanning the original physical copy. If available, it should be replaced by such a scan of the minimum width 420px (preferably >=500px).
