Instructions for {{S14 instructions}}
{{S14 instructions}} is a template that really shouldn't exist. It's enough to put up {{spoiler}} on pages about upcoming comic, audio and prose series.

But television drives the most traffic and media attention to Doctor Who, and it typically brings in a slate of new editors, as well. So there's cause to be slightly more specific in our notices atop the page associated with "the new series".

Leaks are also a problem that affect new TV series more than series in other media, so it's especially important to warn people that we don't accept any contributions based upon leaked material.

So: a template that's a total one-off.

Indeed, this template goes against general good practices in that it is only meant to be used on one page. Please don't put it anywhere other than upcoming TV series, like series 14 (Doctor Who). And please don't create anything like it for other series.

Here's what it looks like:

Information from any leaked videos or any other improperly released material is strictly disallowed on any part of this wiki. Similarly, images of any part of the production process — unless officially released by the BBC themselves or their licensees — are forbidden at Tardis.

Before editing this page, please read T:RUMOUR and T:OOU SRC. Fan sites, videos and blogs are not valid sources for this article. Also cast and crew announcements need to be handled in a particular way.

Please also remember to directly quote people, or to exactly characterise their statements. Do not say that someone said something when they really didn't. Work from original quotesnot a paraphrasing of them. When it comes to anything Russell T Davies, Jane Tranter, Julie Gardner, another exec, or any major star of the show says, give their exact quote only. Remember, a part of the production team's job is to tell the truth, but only very narrowly. So this page should contain only what they exactly say.
