{{SMW type}} is a template that's really only used in namespace 302, or . It sorts the SMW property into the appropriate type. Because page is overwhelmingly the most common type used on this wiki, it defaults to page if no other response is specifed.

This should be used at the very top of a property page.

• {{SMW type}} automatically sets a value of page
• {{SMW type|URL}} will set the value of URL.
