Template:WBM/doc

{{WBM}} lets you put a link to a page at a now defunct website archived by the Wayback Machine. It's only to be used in the "External links" section.

Usage[[edit source]]

The template works like this:

{{WBM|URL|defunct WEBSITE|DATE of archive|NAME of story}}

So, let's imagine you were trying to use this template at the page, Buried Treasures (audio anthology). Follow these procedures:

Go to the archived page for Buried Treasures, found at https://web.archive.org/web/20030401181433/http://www.bernicesummerfield.com:80/BSBT.htm (it is advisable to pick the latest available archived snapshot)
Cut the bit of URL after "web.archive.org/web"
Go to the "External links" section of the page here at tardis.wikia.com
Edit the "External links" secton
Type the following:

{{WBM|20030401181433/http://www.bernicesummerfield.com:80/BSBT.htm|www.bernicesummerfield.com|1.04.2003|Buried Treasures}}

The result will be:

Archived Buried Treasures page at the defunct website www.bernicesummerfield.com (1.04.2003)
