Template talk:Color

Should this template be {{colour}}, not {{color}}, seeing as the former is compliant with Tardis:Use British English?

It probably should, but we can retain redirect either way. I only really noticed myself a couple of days ago. I think the reasoning here is based on CSS and HTML (necessarily) using American English spelling. As there's no way around that with direct HTML code, it logically follows that we have to make the exception sometimes for non-reader-facing instances of the word colour. That said, here, there's no reason why this would have to be color and not colour, unlike with straight HTML.
A rename with redirect is probably the most sensible option. Otherwise, a redirect at Template:Colour should certainly be created.19:49, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
