Problem with Disambig Template[[edit source]]

For some reason, files that have this template but do not include the Category:Disambiguation are not listed in the Category page under their corresponding letters. For an example of this, see Goddard. I've tried to find a way to fix the problem but have not succeeded. Any ideas on this? Doug86 12:48, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

I've had a go. Several attempts in fact. I've rejigged the diambig template adding 'included only' tags around the Disambiguation category. Though it hasn't helped. It shouldn't be happening. The only thing that I can feasibly think of is that all the other pages except Goddard have category listings as well as disabig listings, so they're some how doubling up, Goddard's just got the disambig so only one category listing...I don't know (just trying to work it through in my head).
I guess we'll just have to continue with the disambig and category listings. --Tangerineduel 13:37, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Adding __DISAMBIG__[[edit source]]

I would like to propose that the MediaWiki magic word __DISAMBIG__ is added to this template, likely after the <includeonly> tag. This would mean that Special:DisambiguationPages lists disambiguation pages and would mean that a list of pages linking to disambiguation pages could be found at Special:DisambiguationPageLinks. Good idea. On it.
