A temporal velocitar was a vital component of a TARDIS. George Sheldrake stole the one belonging to the Nun’s TARDIS and used it for his time tunnels. The Nun later reclaimed it, causing a temporal disaster when Sheldrake activated his tunnels without it. (AUDIO: The Wrong Woman)
