The Battle for Raxas was the fourth short story of the Dalek Wars series, printed in issue 7 of Doctor Who: Battles in Time magazine.

Follow the Daleks as they battle vicious dinosaurs for control of the planet Raxas.
Plot[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Daleks establish a mining operation on the planet Raxas in search of resources to build more ships and casings. However the small landing party comes under attack by the Raxas natives, similar to Earth's dinosaurs. The Daleks suffer heavy losses before reinforcements arrive and cement their control over the planet. Even so, patrols continue to watch out for the return of the natives.
