The Factory was the place where Andy Warhol and various of his friends worked. It was located on the fifth floor of 231 East 47th Street in Midtown Manhattan. (PROSE: The Exploding Somewhat Inevitable)
The Eighth Doctor, Sam Jones and Iris Wildthyme visited the Factory in 1968. Iris spent quite a bit of time there following her recent regeneration.
Valerie Solanis, a writer, tried to kill Warhol while he and the others were at the Factory. She merely wounded him. (PROSE: Femme Fatale)
