The I were a species working under one mind.

Biology[[edit] | [edit source]]

The I were centaurid, carapaced, covered in glass-like light-blue plating and had compound eyes. They had six fingers on each hand. They were a compound mind and referred to themselves as I. (PROSE: Seeing I)

Technology[[edit] | [edit source]]

The I were unable to develop their own ideas. Instead, they stole technology from other species, planted it like seeds amongst other civilisations and returned later to harvest the results. Galspar, Hirath, Tractis, and Ha'olam were all planets that the I conducted experiments on. (PROSE: Seeing I)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

The I once intercepted Savar's escape pod, taking all relevant technology. However as Time Lord technology utilised retinal technology they also extracted his eyes. (PROSE: The Infinity Doctors, PROSE: Seeing I)

The I were also known to have a presence on Galspar. They put chemicals in the ice cream that turned everyone on the planet into I. (AUDIO: I Scream)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

Ries's I design as seen in BBV's modernised cover for I Scream.
  • Jonathan Blum wrote The I Job, another audio drama featuring the I for BBV Productions following on from I Scream), but the story was rejected due to its length.
  • In 2013, Blum revisited the project. He cast actors, recorded a revised script, and commission Alex Ries for artwork.[1] As of 2020, the project has not been released. Ries's artwork for an I redesign was later used by BBV Productions for a revised cover of I Scream without credit to Ries.
