The Lord Mayor's Show was a filmed public appearance which featured Peter Davison in costume as the Fifth Doctor.

This was Peter Davison's first public appearance in costume, for the annual London Lord Mayor's carnival in November 1981.

- Villains such as the Daleks, the Ogrons, the Draconians, the Sea Devils, the Yeti, the Movellans, Davros, the Axons, the Sandminer robots, and the Sontarans appeared.
- Footage of the event was included as an Easter egg in the 2007 DVD release of Castrovalva, accessible by pressing left at Audio Options on the Main Menu to illuminate the Doctor Who logo.
