Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]
- This comic an homage to the Frank Bellamy's work for Radio Times, namely Doctor Who in "Colony in Space". The featured article of the issue was a retrospective on Doctor Who in Radio Times.
- The comic ends with "continued on page 12", which directs to the DWM Archive for The Masque of Mandragora.
- In 2022, Colin Howard said of his artwork:
I think the problem with comics for me was my interest in doing detail; it would cause me to spend way too long on pages and put too much into it. That was the problem with The Masque of Mandragora I used way too much black, basically messing about putting in details and not leaving enough for the colourist to do. I coloured the next one, Terror of the Autons, myself to save annoying anybody!
