- This story featured the new TARDIS control room first seen in COMIC: The Chameleon Factor.
- The events of The Chameleon Factor implied the new TARDIS interior was a result of the Doctor's signet ring interfering with the chameleon circuit icon system. Despite that, this story would retroactively be stated to take prior to The Chameleon Factor according to "Interweaving with the New Adventures."
