The Path

The Path was a time path that connected the Worldsphere in the 26th century to ancient Babylon on Earth. It was created by a faction of the People who wanted to provoke conflict with their time travelling rivals. wiRgo!xu and !Ci!ci-tel fled to Babylon on it. Bernice Summerfield was sent along it by God to retrieve them. Victorian translator John Lafayette stumbled across it in 1901 and followed it to Babylon. The Path was eventually shut down, and relations were smoothed over with the People's rivals. (PROSE: Walking to Babylon)
