The series briefly crossed over with the Doctor Who universe in the 1998 BBC promotional video Future Generations [+]Loading...["Future Generations (TV story)"], which featured a young boy travelling through the settings of several series, including The Really Wild Show and Doctor Who.

Partway through the promo, after the boy is transported from Narnia to a garden where he sees the Borrowers (from The Borrowers), he walks past as Michaela Strachan hosts The Really Wild Show with a Bengal tiger cub, with the boy remarking that the BBC's catalogue of children's programmes includes "really wild programmes!".
