In Earth-33⅓, the Scriptwriter wrote two "crummy" movies about the adventures of Dr. Who, Susan, Ian Chesterton and Barbara, who possessed some independent existence as sentient fictional characters. Partway through his writing a third film, Susan finally realised that the Scriptwriter was her and all the others' "true enemy"; somehow reaching beyond her own fictionality, she staked the Scriptwriter through the heart, like a vampire, putting an end to the franchise and thus freeing herself.
