The Silurians was a feature in The Silurian Age which outlined a history of the Silurians and detailed a Silurian city known as Deep Crag.
It was accompanied by the adventure seeds The Rogue Time Agent, The Angry Ark, Cold-Blooded Cold War, Soviet Silurian Rocketry, Cowboys & Dinosaurs, and The Lizard Khan.

- The Silurians are a collection of related species evolved from a common ancestor.
- Silurians evolved in 100 million BCE in the mid-Cretaceous. Until 80 million BCE, they remained technologically primitive comparable to humans of the Stone Age. By 70 million BCE, various species and sub-species of Silurians had developed pre-industrial civilisations, with the Earth having disparate empires that rose and fell. The Silurians underwent a rapid technological advancement in this time, creating a single global civilisation that would last for five million years.
- The Silurian Age ended in 65 million BCE with the coming of the Moon causing the entire cilivisation to enter into the great hibernation.
- A second Silurian Ark was discovered in 2864, carrying aquatic dinosaurs and Sea Devils.
- In the 46th century, Silurians create the inter-planetary Reptilian Empire.
