The Vault was a chamber within the Crucible space station which contained Davros and Dalek Caan. The Vault Daleks were charged with guarding Davros inside the Vault. (TV: The Stolen Earth) The Tenth Doctor and Rose were imprisoned there by the Dalek holding cell. The Magnetron technology was located there as well. The Vault was destroyed when the Crucible was exploded by the Meta-Crisis Doctor. (TV: Journey's End)
