"The Weapon and the Warrior"

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

A woman who called herself only "the Weapon and the Warrior" was born during the Cyberon War with a degenerative, contagious disease that affected her nervous system.

Unable to move or breathe without a life-support system and wheelchair, she struggled with feeling weak and "useless" in the War effort. Eventually, she moved to a secluded life inside the obscure Asteroid B-725, where a supply ship that came by every six months was her only point of physical contact with the outside world. There, she set up a lab and tried to work on formulating a cure for her own illness.

Eventually, finding that she had no hope of curing the disease before she succumbed to it, she instead switched to studying ways to make it more virulent, and then lured the Cyberon Controller Dracula there with reports that humanity's greatest weapon against the Cyberon lay there. Dracula confronted her just before she died, and she warned him that by speaking face-to-face with her, he had become infected with her disease, as had all the Cyberons in his escort. She hoped that the infection would spread to the entire Cyberon race, but was, in any case, able to witness the ones on the Asteroid dying. Dracula, as an undead being, was not affected, but two of his Cyberon bodyguards pinned him in place just before succumbing, so that he wouldn't become a carrier for the disease and infect the wider Cyberon race himself; with them holding him firm even in death, she hoped he would remain trapped there forever. With her dying breath, she declared that he had been beaten by "weakness" and declared herself "the Weapon and the Warrior". (AUDIO: The Weapon and the Warrior)
