- The Doctor claims that if he didn't abduct young Bobby, as an adult he wouldn't tell them they'd done it, they wouldn't know better than to abduct him, and it would cause a paradox. However, the only reason they tracked the time anomaly and met Bobby in the first place was because his future self told them too, and if they hadn't there wouldn't have been a paradox.
