This page is for discussing the ways in which Dermot and the Doctor doesn't fit well with other DWU narratives. You can also talk about the plot holes that render its own, internal narrative confusing.

... and so on.

The Doctor is heading for the 16th NTAs, which this story explicitly dates to their real world date of 26 January 2011. The Doctor furthermore says that they have "overshot", implying they actually arrived at a later date than that. However, Ant & Dec are show to be still alive, when Ant was heavily implied by The Gallifrey Chronicles to have perished in the 2005 Vore Invasion of Earth. Furthermore, they claim to have be joined by "invisible space handcuffs" for "26 years", making dating that scene even more confusing.

Wait, you can disregard that, I just remembered he doesn't actually die. I still think the "invisible handcuffs for 26 years" thing makes it a bit confusing though, but given the Doctor never clarifies by how much they "overshot" we can just imagine they overshot by a LONG way and they just look young for their age. Never mind.
